Sirocco II Fan: airflow for warm nights in the tent
On a still, humid night, a fan makes the difference between sleeping and lying awake. The Sirocco II, made by Caframo, moves up to 185 CFM (314m³/h) on high while drawing just 0.35A at 12V, and about 54dB, so it can run all night off your house battery.
Features
- Directional airflow: the gimballed head swivels to aim the air across the bed or towards the door.
- Three speeds: 1200, 1500 and 1800 RPM.
- Auto-off timers: 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours, so it switches itself off once the night cools.
- 12/24V auto-sensing: works on either system.
- Stows flat: folds to 97mm deep, with 178mm FingerSafe™ blades.
Cables for your tent
We supply the fan with custom cables to connect it to the 12V sockets in our tents:
- a 2.5m lead with a 12V plug and socket, which runs neatly up the zippered cable channels inside the tent roof
- an 860mm lead with a 12V plug that connects the 2.5m lead to the fan’s terminals
Mounting it
- AX27, TX27, TX27 MAX and DX27: the Sirocco 12V Fan Bracket.
- LX27 Gen 1 and LX27 Gen 2: the Sirocco 12V Fan Mount Plate.
Take the fan off its bracket before you close the tent; the bracket stays in place.
