12V camp power from your DeWalt 18V battery
The Volt Step Down PRO clips onto a DeWalt 18V XR battery and turns it into a portable 12V supply for camp: 15A through an Anderson plug for the fridge, a 12V socket for lights, a pump or a Sirocco II fan, and 65W USB-C for a laptop, phone or Starlink Mini.
It earns its place when the car is parked up for a few days. Run the fridge at camp, keep a fan going in the rooftop tent overnight, or power the lights under the awning without draining the vehicle battery.

Fridge runtime
At temperature, a 12V fridge draws about 1 amp on average, so a 12Ah battery gives roughly 12 hours. Pre-cool the fridge first; hot weather shortens runtime.
Before you buy
- Fits DeWalt 18V XR slide-on batteries. Battery not included.
- Low-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection built in.
- Don’t use dual-battery adaptors, and never combine two batteries at different charge levels. Both can damage the batteries.
- For lights, fans and smaller loads, the 18V to 12V Power Supply is a lighter-duty option.

Does it come with a battery?
No. It fits the DeWalt 18V XR batteries you already own. A bigger battery (higher Ah) runs your gear for longer.
How long will it run a 12V fridge?

Can I run more than one thing at once?
Yes. The Anderson plug, 12V socket and both USB ports work together, up to 15A in total (about 20A for short peaks of roughly 8 minutes).
