The Ford PXIII Ranger has a reputation for being a tough and practical Ute, and Torqit’s 3″ DPF Back Performance Exhaust has the strength and quality to back it up. Expertly designed for maximum power and torque, the Ford PXIII Ranger Exhaust is one of the thickest and most durable mandrel bent systems of it’s kind in Australia.
The tough 304 grade stainless steel grantees extreme strength across all terrains, and is ideal for towing, touring and off-roading. The brushed stainless steel not only looks great, it adds depth to the note which is a large improvement on the factory exhaust. As a three-piece bolt together system, the exhaust starts from the back of the DPF and connects with 10mm thick two-bolt flanges, which are also made from 304 grade stainless steel.
As this PXIII Ranger Exhaust bolts onto the back of the DPF, it complies with all regulations and insurance requirements, and your vehicle warranty remains intact. The DPF Back Ford Ranger system is designed to improve the flow of gases, which in turn lowers the exhaust gas temperatures (EGT’s). Lowering the EGT’s is crucial when adding an exhaust to a vehicle fitted with a DPF- as you are probably aware there are few things which will damage a diesel engine faster than excessive EGT’s. Thick Stainless Steel

304 Grade Stainless Steel
The highest quality steel used in exhaust systems is 304 grade stainless, which is renowned for its high strength, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. It is known as an austenitic stainless steel, meaning due to a high percentage of chromium and nickel it is extremely resistant to rust, stress, and harsh conditions such as high temperatures. The excellent properties of Torqit’s 304 grade stainless demonstrate its strength in comparison to the 409 grade stainless commonly used in the automotive industry. For heavy duty strength and resistance to corrosion, 304 grade stainless steel is the superior choice. A 4WD owner who undertakes water crossings, backs their vehicle into the water to unload a boat, or lives by the coast will especially benefit from our stainless steel systems.
Internal & External Welds
High quality welds are essential to avoiding structural fatigue on joints, stopping cracks from forming, and preventing exhaust gas leaks. All Torqit Performance Exhausts are TIG welded internally and externally, to reinforce the system for maximum strength. TIG welding is complex and more time consuming than the usual MIG welding technique used on exhausts; however it is a key part of creating a premium system. Torqit’s welds are extremely precise, higher quality, and create a beautiful clean finish with no welding spatter.
Mandrel Bent System
