Chief Products Transmission Protection Plate for Grand Cherokee WK2
Leaving your Jeep Grand Cherokee drivetrain exposed or having an inadequate cover while you’re off-roading leaves you at major risk of it turning into a stop-train. The Chief Products WK2 Transmission Protection Plate provides off-road protection for the critical underside of your transmission. These aftermarket Grand Cherokee transmission plates form a tough barrier against rocks, branches and other objects while allowing the cooling airflow needed for smooth performance.
The WK2 Transmission Nail Plate is made from high-strength steel with reinforced boxed edges to provide maximum impact protection. It’s designed to be installed on its own or integrated with the Mopar set of skid plates, providing a fully protected and streamlined undercarriage. The latest version delivers several enhancements, including a new mounting system with recessed mounting bolts that are impossible to hit when driving off-road. It also has industry-leading E-Coat corrosion protection, optimized slots for increased airflow and drainage and fewer parts for easier installation. Best of all, Chief Products has increased the total strength by 40%.
This Jeep transmission protection plate fits all 2011-2022 WK2 Grand Cherokees except the SRT model. Fitment on all Summit, High Altitude and Australian 2016+ models requires cutting two holes in the grille area of the lower front fascia for the mounting brackets.
