The new Landcruiser Prado has magnificent factory fitted Bi-LED headlamps. Problem is that wiring auxiliary driving lights that are high-beam switched is a nightmare. Up until this point, the only option for professional installers and DIY enthusiasts has been to purchase the Genuine Toyota Harness which retails for $190.00.
Note: All STEDI piggybacks are only designed to work with our smart harnesses. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee fitment on 3rd party harnesses.
Below we compare features of the STEDI designed harness compared to the Genuine Toyota offering.

The wire lengths on the STEDI patch harness have been optimised to facilitate a very stealth factory-like install. The patch harness offered for sale is compatible with all STEDI Smart Driving Light harnesses sold separately and included with our driving lights and light bars, and is not compatible with other brands of harness.
In the interest of safe driving, like the genuine Toyota harness. we have designed our patch harness not to function with the vehicle’s factory auto-high beam or auto-headlight system.√Ǭ†
